Woody was a piece of work. He was a good football coach and cared about his players. It is ashame he will be remembered for slugging the Clemson player in his final game.

Man I watched him coach many games on TV, but he sounds to have been stern on education. I have to say Woody was not the most beloved coach but, this shares a human side that every coach should aspire on the outside to be. Education has to come first, then you have the smartest player on the field as well as the biggest. RTR!

Excellent read...thanks forsharing...I remember seeing Coach Haye's at Coach Bryant's funeral..they were close friends.
