I agree with you two. Coach has done an outstanding job creating and building membership here on CRS.  I am so thankful that I did get to catch his post on TS before it ended.  I can't wait until football season and the new things we have to look forward to having here on CRS. :)
Being an administrator of a site is not easy. Hats off to you for doing what you feel is just and right when the decision is so hard.

No apology needed.  I thought it was funny.  I didn't delete the thread, or your post.  I'm not sure what happened to it though.  I didn't actually watch it, I just assumed it was the actual music video to that song.

It is not stressful at all, but I don't really track it.  I try to read every post here on all the boards on the entire forum, but there is no way I can respond to all of them.  In fact it is getting harder and harder to even read them all.  I try to be pretty generous with the applause button as I go through.  I'm probably biased toward humor and friendliness.

I really appreciate all of you guys.  I would like to point out that it is all the members here who make the place special.  I built the engine, but member participation is the fuel that makes the engine go.  Without you guys this place would be nothing more than an old Mustang sitting on blocks in my back yard.

I want to say a special thank you to the mods.  Those guys subject themselves to all sorts of personal attacks and vitriol in the name of keeping the site running smoothly.  An analogy I used in a private conversation yesterday sums it up nicely I think:  every criminal in every prison in the country hates cops.  I have to admit that I'm not too happy with them either when one of them gives me a ticket.  Any job were you are charged with enforcing the rules is like that.  The mods are the site police force.

This is by far the friendliest forum I've ever seen on the internet, and that is exactly how I advertise it.

Absolutely.  My apologies.  If there is anyone else that I may have overlooked please let me know.  I try to do this on their first post, but I don't always realize they are a new member if they have more than 1 post when by the time I read the topic.

What I need to do is just write some custom software that automatically sends the welcome wagon on a first post.
