CNS took some hear on various boards for not throwing them out the day after their arrests. But IMHO he was wise to let the University's judicial review process run its course. Now they are not only off the team but also out of school, and the Univ is speaking with one voice.
Shinn leaving is a surprise and I'll conjecture that there is more to come on this story. Bottom line from the day is that there are now five open roster spots. The injury info that comes out in the off-season is always illuminating to me. Sometimes we wonder why guys don't seem to be playing up to thier potential when what we don't know is that they are playing hurt. Look at all the injuries that limited our guys at the combine. With guys healthy next year we will be in better shape that we thought. |
