Traina loaded the bases in the 7th with 2 hits and a walk but she ends the game with a strikout. She gave up 3 hits, strukout 9 and walked 6. She wins her 9th game of the year. Bama goes to 18-0. Traina didn't seem to have her best control tonight. Gave up 3 hits, struck out 9, and walked 6. Even when she has an off night she's still great. Funny, seems like we've been spoiled. Kudos to Molly Fichtner had 2 hits including a 3 RBI double. So, too, did her Crimson Tide teammates, as they supplemented Traina's third shutout of the season with some tough defense, shrewd base-running and one big hit in Thursday's 4-0 victory at Rhoads Stadium. The win was Alabama's 18th in 18 tries in 2013. It also mimicked the two hard-fought victories it picked up against the Jaguars (13-2) in last year's NCAA Regional. Traina allowed just three hits, walked six and struck out nine to pick up her ninth win of the year.
