Title: Re: Paul Findbaum Post by: Marshal Dillon on March 04, 2013, 11:15:44 PM He won't be on JOX, but in B'ham will probably be on 97.3, ESPN radio.
:popcorn2: Title: Re: Paul Findbaum Post by: 2Stater on March 05, 2013, 07:07:45 AM I hear he had a 90 day "no compete" clause after his contract expired, which means he should resurface somewhere other than JOX. I hadn't heard it was ESPN radio, but that makes sense.
Title: Re: Paul Findbaum Post by: pmull on March 05, 2013, 07:59:43 AM As others have said he did not renew his contract with JOX and is serving a 90 day no complete requirement of the JOX contract. It is widely rumored that he will join 97.3 The Zone in B'ham. He should be back on the radio about the first week of April.

He'd been on ESPN several times before that and has been listed as a top 10 most influential sports radio host for quite a while. He has been on CNN and 60 minutes. He is pretty well known and believe it or not he is respected by his media peers. Getting on Sirius Radio has helped his national exposure as well. Plus, his radio network had something like 38 radio stations tuned in. Paul was getting calls from listeners all over the country, especially the Big Ten folks due to Sirius. :dog: |
