Florida wins 8-4

Traina went 6.1 innings, gave up 8 runs on 9 hits, struck out 8, and walked 5.

She struggled with her control from the beginning.  A 1st inning leadoff walk provided Floridas first run.  A lead off walk in the 5, produced their 2nd run.  A basses loaded walk in the 6th, produced the go ahead run.

The bottom half of the batting order did not produce tonight, with Hays, Richards and Davis striking out twice each.

It wont get any easier as we head to Knoxville for a weekend series with the Vols and the Renfroe sisters.

We got the season off to a great start. You will loss a game sooner or later. I'd rather it be now in a non-conference game. Now we head to conference play hungry. The Vols will be tough, especially at home in Knowville.

Would not be surprised to see another SEC team when the WCWS this year if Bama doesn't.

Alabama, Florida, Missouri, and Tennessee all in the top 10
