Traina went 6.1 innings, gave up 8 runs on 9 hits, struck out 8, and walked 5. She struggled with her control from the beginning. A 1st inning leadoff walk provided Floridas first run. A lead off walk in the 5, produced their 2nd run. A basses loaded walk in the 6th, produced the go ahead run. The bottom half of the batting order did not produce tonight, with Hays, Richards and Davis striking out twice each. I'd rather it be now in a non-conference game. Now we head to conference play hungry. The Vols will be tough, especially at home in Knowville.
