Mal Moore is a first class gentleman. He served the university as a player, coach and administrator. He will be missed. Under his watch our facilities and athletic programs are among the best in the nation. Thanks Mal for a job well done. I would like to see someone 45-50 years old who is going to be around a while or someone there now. I wonder if Sarah Patterson is in the mix? ??? I think Shane Lyons may be the next AD. He replaced Dave Hart in 2011 in running the daily operations of the athletic dept. He was the associate commissioner of the ACC. You have to think when he was hired the university was thinking Mal Moore would be retiring soon since he was over 70 at the time Lyons was hired.
