Title: Met Cade Foster last night: Post by: hscoach on March 30, 2013, 12:46:02 PM One of my ex players is moving to California for a job. The parents had a going away dinner at Joe T Garcia's last night and I was invited. As they were coming in they saw Cade and his family having dinner and was nice enough to introduce me to him. Very nice young man and family.

Do you still have to walk through the kitchen to get to the dining room? Probably been 25 years since I was there but I still remember how good it was. RTR

Title: Re: Met Cade Foster last night: Post by: BAMAWV on March 31, 2013, 05:59:17 AM There was a Tex-Mex place in Burleson where we ate or ordered out 5-6 times a week. But if I'm getting real clothes on (mostly in coveralls in Ft. Worth) I'm looking at the Top 10 Steak list. Even the chains like Morten's seem to taste better in Texas. But the Capital Grille (Dallas) had great steaks (240z dry aged porterhouse) and something I've never had anywhere else-- Lobster mac'n'cheese!

I think I remember a Saltgrass in Houston (Memorial Park area) that had char broiled steaks-- big variety--big flavor.
