I was afraid of something like this. The transfer from UAB to Duke, the talk of a transplant, the quick resignation, the lack of info on his condition, it all added up to a major situation. I wish the best for his loved ones.

My prayers for Coach Moore and his family. I know he had a great deal of stress in his job that might have affected his health, but also much joy.  Thank goodness UA did honor him in many ways.

Not to mention caring for his wife and having to watch her melt away with an awful disease (Alzheimer's).

This is the photo ESPN choose for the announcement  of CMM's death. Mean and angry? He had a signature smile that was infectious to all around him.

God signed a death certificate when Coach Moore was born. Today he executed it and called home a great man. He is Gods' Angel now. I am praying for his daughter and family.
God send your peace and comfort on this family and University. I still remember Coach Bryant when he gave it up he died and it seems Coach Moore took the same route. God Bless the Moore family, the University and anyone who never had a chance to meet Coach Moore. I am one of those. RTR! God Bless!

Was so sad to hear the news of Coach Moore's passing this morning.  He was a great man, a wonderful, loving husband and a good father. He was also one of the best Athletic Directors ever! God bless his family at this time. God be with the University of Alabama as they have to say goodbye to this wonderful man.

I feel so blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting Mal and to hear hear speak on different occasions. He had so many funny stories to tell and I think his best one was the hiring of Coach Saban. He was very serious about the details of how it all happened, but it turned out to be very funny.

He had a story to tell this past January at our REC meeting and not knowing then, it would our last one to hear.

He was attending what I think was the Heisman Trophy Awards in New York and stated that New York is such a big place with all of the lights and big buildings and he was just in awe of the place. They were standing outside and he noticed a large electronic type billboard that was posting some of the information of the players that were there for the award. He then noticed his name on the board, in those big bold letters, and it then dawned on him that he had to be the first and only person ever from little ole Dozier, Alabama to have their name broadcast in downtown New York City for everyone to see. He was very proud of his hometown.

May Gods blessings be with his family.
