Thanks for posting this.  My son has been wanting me to record an Alabama baseball game for him.

I hope the weather is OK tonight. I think the rain will be gone but it may be cold. I am sure the field has been tarped so the infield should be fine.

Arkansas has some very good pitching. All we could was 4 hits and one unearned run. Two errors allowed 2 unearned runs for Arky in the 5th was the difference in the game. Enough though Arky had 12 hits our pitching stood up. We did a good job of working out of a few jambs.

Arky left 13 runners on base and we left 9. Neither team could get the timely hits. There was only one earned run in the game.

We play again at 6:35 tonight. The weather should be nice tonight so hopefully we will get a good crowd to help the team.

Arky pitching as good as advertised. They came into the series with a team 1.68 ERA. So far it has only gotten better since we have not scored an earned run in two games.

Arkansas is a good team. There is a reason they were preseason No. 1.

We need to get things turned around today and get a win to avoid the sweep. We need a good start out of Turnbull and we need to get the bats going and score some runs.

Bama wins game 3 5-0. We had 12 hits to Arky 5. We go to 20-13 on the year and 8-4 SEC. Arky is also 8-4. This was a must win to avoid the sweep. We played a complete game with good pitching and timely hitting. Arky also make 5 errors. The score could have been worse. We had three runners thrown out at the plate.

Spencer Turnbull had a great start. He pitched 7 innings to get the win. Kaplan pitched the 8th and Castillo pitched the 9th.

We play two home games against Alcorn State on Tuesday and Wednesday. We travel to Ole Miss next weekend for a three game series.

Spencer Turnbull had a great start and got the win for us yesterday. He has pitched 29 2/3 innings without giving up a run. All in SEC play. He is 4-0 in SEC and has not given up a run his the first SEC series of the year against Tenn. He has lowered his ERA to 2.22.

Glad to see Bama winning the last one. After the first two games, Arky and their pitching looked unbeatable.
