Ouch, that loss really hurt yesterday but good teams will bounce back. When you have two teams the caliber of Bama and Fla, late game heroics can be expected and both teams showed what they can do in the crunch.

A game like yesterdays can be a huge wake up call to the Bama team as they approach the end of the season and tournament play starts. Bama has a very good team and very good teams can and will lose games, but how will Bama respond today. I think Bama was reminded in a big way that it is a seven inning game, remember Hawaii last year.

We got screwed on the last play. The Florida runner interfered with the second baseman and it was not called. The umps huddled to talk about it and said game over.

Florida wins the series 2-1. We had 2 run leads going into the bottom of the 7th in both loses and could not close the games out.

Bama should have won all 3 of these games, but for some reason the pitching can't hold a lead anymore. But it's not just pitching that is hurting them.

This team has to improve their game in all areas if they want to make it to the World Series.

They can't hit with runners in scoring position, their fielding is very suspect, and their pitching can't hold a lead in the late innings.

This kind of play has been going on since their trip to Knoxville when they split a two game series with Tennessee. Hopefully they can turn all of this around before the SEC tournament gets here.

I agree with you Jamos. This does not look like the same team we saw early in the year. They have the potential to peak at the right time and make a strong postseason run.

Florida is a pretty good team and seems to have our number but there is no way we should blow a 2 run lead going into the bottom of the 7th two days in arow.
