Title: Bama vs Fla game 3 @ 1 pm cdt today Post by: Jamos on April 24, 2011, 07:34:29 AM Bama has tried hard in the first two games but to play the better teams at their home and expect to beat them, it's a tough challenge.
When comparing last year's team to this year's team, you can find a similarity of the two. Last year's team could hardly win a game early on but made a great run at the end of the season that almost carried them to the College Word Series. This year's team got a great early start and led the SEC West for awhile but now has slid back to the level that they were projected to be in. Injuries to the pitching staff and hitting slumps from the batters is the main reason for this, but that is baseball. Hopefully Bama can put 9 innings of good pitching and some timely hitting together and salvage the last game of the series today. RTR! Bama loses 2-1. Florida gets the sweep. Bama only scored 3 runs in the three games. You can not win unless you can swing the bats. Tough weekend. Maybe we can get it turned around next week. |
