I liked his effort in the scrimmage last Saturday and I think he can earn himself some playing time. Per CNS, he's been away from the game for a long time and the skills it takes to play the game, especially at Bama, will require a lot of work to regain but he is trying very hard. Good luck to the young man.

When you have determination, love, and gifted for the game you play, then he should be well accomplished with CNS doing the training. He sure has my hopes up for him and our team. RTR!

I hope he does well, but it's going to be extremely hard for him to get into the NFL as a 30 year old rookie. Weeden was just able to get in as a (27?, 29?) year old, and that's because QBs have a longer career life expectancy than other positions. I will be shocked if Miller gets drafted.

I think an NFL team will take anyone if they think the player can help them for a year or two. They may not be willing to use a high draft pick or play a lot of money. Undrafted free agrents often make team rosters. For most of us we would love to play football and make the NFL minimum pay for a few years.
