It really highlights the failure of the NFL to correctly evaluate players. The NFL has so many image problems because they keep hiring thugs and black-balling decent people like Barrett. Scouts often make up flaws for players when they have an agenda. For example, in the article they mention that NFL scouts said Barrett had short arms. During the Combine it came to light that his arms are exactly the same length as Luke Joeckel. Anyway, I hope that Barrett gets a chance in the NFL and has a long career.
