Title: Alabama Beats Southern Miss 7-4 Post by: pmull on April 24, 2013, 09:13:40 PM Alabama traveled to Hattiesburg, MS for a mid-week game with Southern Miss. Bama won the game 7-4. We had 11 hits. Austen Smith was 3-4 wirh 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Taylor Guilbeau gets the win and Tucker Hawley picks up the save.
We improve our record to 25-18, 9-9 SEC. Southern Miss falls to 21-19. Southern Miss is a decent team. They are in first place in Conference USA with a 10-5 record. They had won 10 of their last 11 games. We host Texas A&M for a three game SEC series this weekend. |
