Title: Baseball to Host Texas A&M in SEC Series This Weekend Post by: pmull on April 26, 2013, 08:02:29 AM This should be a good series. Alabama needs to get back to winning SEC games. We have lost 3 SEC series in a row to Arky, Ole Miss and LSU. We need a minimum of 2 wins but a sweep would be nice.

Rain is in the forecast but they will get the games in if possible. On Wednesday in Hattisburg they played through rain most of the game. I don't think there will be enough heavy rain or lightning to not get all three games in. We'll see. If anyone is still questioning if Bama has improved since last year all you have to do is look at the record. We finished last year 21-34, 9-21 SEC.
Charley Sullivan got the win last night improving his record to 4-4. Ray Castillo picks up his 7th save. Ben Moore and Brett Booth both hit home runs for the Tide. Game 2 today was originally scheduled for 6:05 but has been moved to 2:05. I assume due to weather. I agree, but even though it was canceled I think the players left with a good feeling of knowing they were going to sweep them.
