Our RPI is 31.

We do not have a mid week game this week. The players will get a rest until making the short trip to Starkville for three games against Miss St this weekend.

We have three weeks left in the regular season. After Miss St we have Missouri at home and end the season at Vandy.

Any of the games left won't be easy and especially at Vandy. It's going to be important to win the series against State and Missouri.

Our team has shown a big improvement over last years team and I am very happy about that. We have done a good job of separating ourselves from the bottom teams. We are competitive with the top teams but we still have work to do to be a top three team in this league.

We have series wins against Tenn, UGA, Auburn and A&M. All bottom teams. Our record against those teams is 9-2. We lost series to Arky, Ole Miss and LSU. Our record against those teams is 2-7.

We need to play well this week at Miss St. We need a minimum of 1 win but 2 would be great. We should get 2, maybe 3, at home against Missouri. Vandy on the road will be very difficult. I would love to see us go 5-4 in these games and finish 16-13.

A winning SEC record and RPI in the low 30's will put us as a #2 seed in a regional.

Well even if we get a #2 seed will we be a number 2 team? I see all the posts and they look good for improvement but we have got to get hungry. Every bat should be a desire to win and every defensive play should done with no thought of doing it wrong? RTR!
