Alabama beat Texas A&M last night in the first round 10-9. It was a very exciting game that included two grand slams and several lead changes. Bama got the win with a two run walk off double by Danielle Richards.

Thanks for the update.  I just turned the game on and UF has bases loaded with 2 outs.

Nothing doing for Bama, going to the bottom of the 4th still 1-0.

They mentioned on the broadcast that Alabama is an 8 seed in this tournament, even though they have an RPI of 6 and are #10 in the country in the polls.  Sounds like the SEC has a good chance to win it all again this year.

Florida scores 3 more to go to 4-0.  They got the small ball assembly line going with a bunch of infield hits, stolen bases, sac. flies, etc.  Jury is close to 100 pitches.  Sewell was warming up in the bullpen, we might see her pretty soon.

UF not only leads 4-0 they are out hitting us 6-1. We need to get something going fast.

CPM left Traina in too long last night and it almost cost us the game. He left Jury in too long today. UF made a good decision to change pitchers at the right time.

8-4 now.  We are down to our last 3 outs.

Oh well, this seems like a good time to watch the Iron Bowl again.  :)

Jackie Traina is 18-6 on the year. Leslie Jury is 16-7 and Lauren Sewell is 8-0. Last year Traina was 42-3, this year she is not a 20 game winner...yet.

Preacher, the SEC Tournament is single elimination. We are done.

We wait for the NCAA regional pairings. We should host a regional. Assuming we win the regional I think we will travel for a super regional. IMO the WCWS is a long shot this year.

UGA beats LSU 7-0.

Plus three line drives missed at third base that were called hits but shouldn't have been.
