That was a good analysis.  I agree about Miss State being a trap game.

Big-time trap.  And the Florida game after Arky won't be a picnic either.  :o

We need to come out this season with a polished offense and D that make these games fun instead of nail biters.

Well I have picked MSU to be 9-3 to 10-2 this year. They will not be a picnic game. CDM is building these guys just like Fla of his old days. Watch out for this bunch. RTR!

It seemed that the overall tone of the article that he never really said was that while this is still a tough SEC schedule, it is set up better for Bama to go undefeated than last year.

Yeah, the Florida game has DANGER written all over it. The big plus for us is our defense with so many returning starters and Florida having a new offense.

Only three teams have a bye before they play us this year. That helps too. However, there is no should thing as an easy SEC schedule.

Also, in 1 of the 3, we have a bye as well (LSU). The other 2 are Ole Miss and Vandy.

Big difference from last year when 6 SEC teams had a bye before playing us.

Am I missing something? Arkansas gets all this love but they have to replace their big time QB Mallett and most of their O-Line. Plus, their defense is supposed to be so much better but they lost 7 starters. What's going on?

 ???

I don't get it either. I think they are overrated and will be average this year.

Well now CBP usually pulls a rabbit out on offense. I think we do need to be ready for them. RTR!

I don't believe that ANY member of the Tide Team is thinking that they have "skate" games this season. I'm sure CNS has reminded them of the Louisiana game and the loses last year. I also have no doubt that CNS will have this team ready for each and every game.  RTR
