Title: Tide star Kayla Hoffman recognized as the nation's gymnast of the year Post by: pmull on April 27, 2011, 12:50:58 PM Kayla Hoffman , a senior on Alabama's 2011 national champion gymnastics team, has won the 2011 Honda Sports Award in gymnastics, designating her as the nation's top collegiate female gymnast.
The award puts Hoffman into the running for the College Woman Athlete of the Year award. This is the sixth time an Alabama gymnast has received the Honda Sports Award.
