Quote The first mission of the week for the second-ranked Alabama men's golf team has been accomplished. The Crimson Tide made the cut to match play at the 2013 NCAA Championships in Milton, Ga. Alabama shot a 2-over-par 282 Thursday and finished third out of 30 teams. The top eight teams advance to match play. The Tide will be the No. 3 seed. Cal is the #1 seed and Ga. Tech is #2. Roll Tide guys!!! Take it all this year! Match play is different. Anything can happen. We are right where we need to be. We will play host GA Tech tomorrow on their home course. There are only 4 teams left. A win tomorrow and we advance to the finals.
Our team is pretty good. Don't be surprised if we bring home another trophy. I think they'll bring it home. Ga Tech will be tough on their home course, but our guys have played it a few times now, so the advantage is smaller. Roll Tide boys!!

Illinois beat No. 1 Cal 3-2 in a big upset. If Bama can hang on to their lead we will play Illinois in the Championship Match tomorrow. We ended the match with our 3rd point and the remaining matches were both all square still on the course. Alabama may concede those matches for a 3-2 win.

I like this quote about Bobby Wyatt who got off to a hot start and crushed his oppontent.
