Title: Coach Saban Advocates for 10 BCS Games
Post by: Marshal Dillon on June 05, 2013, 02:42:48 PM
I need to think through this one before I agree.

 ???

Quote
A year ago, standing almost on the same spot at Shoal Creek, Alabama coach Nick Saban came out in favor of playing nine Southeastern Conference games football each season.

Almost a year later, that proposal came to a vote. Last week, Saban was the only coach at the SEC spring meetings in Destin who voted in favor of adding one game to the eight-game conference schedule. As LSU coach Les Miles, the vote against the motion was unanimous: 13-1.

I like it. He is promoting playing 9 SEC games and one BCS level non conference game.

I can't argue with any change that CNS wants to make, I'm a firm believer that it will make college football better.

So do I. Although knowing the barn, they would try to schedule Indiana, Wake Forest, or anybody in the Big East as their one non-con BCS game.

You mean like this year, Washington State at home.

Exactly, although I wouldn't put it past them to lose that one.  :lol2:

Just as long as he isn't locking some of Craig James' relatives in a shed.
