Title: Mobile named as 3rd most miserable city in the nation
Post by: Old Tider on June 22, 2013, 12:12:58 PM
But the Gallup Poll doesn't define "miserable." It includes life style and health.

I think that ranking is WAY overblown. I lived in Mobile for four years and enjoyed it very much. I also wonder what WV thinks of Charleston being No. 1.

I never cared for Mobile. I have not spent much time there and don't know the area well so I am not a good judge. However, a few miles to the East in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach is heaven on earth.

Writer who called Mobile "miserable" changes his mind. And adds beautiful photos.

Mobile is a great town. It has a very low cost-of-living, dynamic downtown, & near Gulf Shores.

thank God our Mayoral Candidate , Mr. Stimpson  invited this young lady to
come to Mobile and see first hand what it is like ... she accepted ...

a Friend of mine , Sean (a BAMA Grad) took her on a air boat tour of
the Mobile Delta
and others wined and dined her
then we shoved all the fresh seafood down her throat she could handle
afterward she wrote a positive story about our fair city ...

bribery works !   :lol2:
