For my mom.

Her brother is eaten up with cancer and has stopped treatment, he will die soon.  Prayers for his soul and for my mom would be great, she doesnt talk about it really.

Also, we need to find SC.

My prayers are with him.

Is SC involved with some of the storm devastation?

We havent heard from SC since wednesday around 5:30 pm.

will do Smitty , wish there were something we could do and get him back in treatment .

Coach is in my Prayers too , we pm'ed a could of times right before he went mia

He avoided the doctor until he couldnt eat, by then it was way too late, he was encouraged to stop treatment and switch to comfort care.

I feel kind of guilty I didn't even think to call him my uncle in the OP.  It's just that I have seen him maybe 3 times in my life and most recently when I saw him he introduced himself, so my heart is really with my mother as I know she is hurting more than she is letting on.

I can't say a word about him being doctor free ...

I used to be that way , bad , and would not go to the doctor for anything
unless I didn't have a say and it was in a ambulance ... broke femur , jaw etc.

then I learned my lesson when I woke up in the hospital because I passed
out in the hall trying to go to the bathroom , I was deathly sick . (pneumonia)
I run to the doctor now if something is wrong .

I'll Pray for you family and especially your mom ...
no need to feel guilty , we figured he was your uncle when you said moms brother ...

 

I fear of something bad for SC, does anyone know where he lives?  :pray:

Yea he lives up in NE Alabama.  They have no power or cell service or anything up there, I have not seen his name on any lists.   There is no tactful way to say it, but I felt better about him once I saw the dekalb county fatality list and he wasnt on there, it appears to be pretty comprehensive.

I'm not that far from that area if we feel someone might need to go to that area and see if we can find him.

This had crossed my mind also.

I pray that your Uncle is able to live his last days with as little pain as possible and that by the time death does come, he will have the peace that passes understanding. God Bless you and your family
