Quote Ole Miss cornerback Carlos Davis must sit out six games of the 2013 season and select practice time after he played six games of the 2012 season while academically ineligible, The (Jackson) Clarion-Ledger reported. The reason he’s being punished and not the school is because Davis never told Ole Miss that the ACT was reviewing his test scores, which ultimately were thrown out. Every college player in every sport has to be cleared through the NCAA Clearinghouse to be eligible.
