Post by: Marshal Dillon on July 17, 2013, 11:44:06 AM
If the Packers make this type of money, imagine what the Cowboys or Giants must earn. They may need the money after the "concussion lawsuits."

Via the Associated Press, CEO Mark Murphy told reporters that the franchise generated $308.1 million in revenue, a two-percent increase over 2012′s high-water mark of $302 million.  Profits came in at $54.3 million, a 26.4-percent increase over the $43 million realized in 2012.

Pro football is huge in the big market cities and most of the nation. In Alabama college football is king but it is not the case in most places. There is no reason a franchise like the Browns can not be profitable. Green Bay is a small market team and they seem to be doing just fine.

Many ppl don't know that the GBP is a publicly owned stock, mainly by the citiziens of GB. And that Green Bay is not a very large city at all with a pop. of just over 100K.
