It looks like we have some players in place for a run in a year or two.

I've got my fingers crossed that something good is in the very near future for the baseball team. It's good to see some of the players getting high caliber recognition. With a new stadium coming in the near future and the team can have a good season this coming year, just maybe CMG will be able to recruit at a higher level with some success.

Going into this past year I knew we were young and all I wanted to see was improvement. By improvement I do not only mean from the previous season but I wanted us to be a better team at the end of May than we were in March. IMO we improved in many areas.

We lose a few seniors but we have a very good group coming back. We did not lose any underclassmen to the MLB draft. We also were able to get a couple of highly recruited players to forgo the draft and enroll at Alabama. I think we are going to be a good team next year. I don't know if we are going to be LSU, Vandy, USCe caliber but we should win a bunch of games and have no problem making the NCAA Tournament.
