Ricky,what I see is someone who is OBSESSED with posting on EVERY subject, no matter how mundane or lack of knowledge on the subject. NO ONE posts on every subject, that's because the subject is of no interest to them or they don't feel COMPELLED to say SOMETHING.  If you feel God is telling you to post on EVERY thread, on EVERY subject, non-stop, then go for it. By the way, there are over a million forums on the internet that cover a wide range of subjects like, sports, hunting, fishing, auto racing, farming, religion-based, politics, history, war, current events, prisons & prisoners, even cow-milking. If you are bored, look around the internet and find more forums you can post on, instead of just one. You will have more fun and interaction by spreading yourself around instead of just looking at the same forum and same posters.

I can spot 2 obvious spammers, which will be dealt with shortly.  As for the others, you never know until they post or put spam links in their profile.  We look for those on a fairly regular basis and ban them.  There have been many times where someone that I would have guessed was a spammer turned out to be legit.

ya'll do a great job because I can't remember seeing any of them spamming the pacle ...
wish they would say hi or something when they sign up though ...

We occasionally get a spam post, but it gets deleted pretty quickly.  It is rare that we don't have at least one mod online most of the time.

Yellowpope is right, except when you have a passion for disrupting an entire Forum board.

If you pay a little attention, the new topics on our board are at the top. They are the first ones everyone goes to for new information. But when someone makes a comment on an old thread,-- instead of dropping off the board it goes back to the top. Then the new topics get mixed in with the old, and the natural flow is disrupted.

Sometimes a poster may have a relevent comment on an old thread, or new information. This is understandable, even healthy, since it furthers the conversation. But "golly gee, I think you are right" does nothing but clutter the board. Hope this helps!

452 members. 332 (roughly) have never posted. The number we're working with now is 120 "posting members," meaning that 120 members have at least one post. We can safely knock that number down to a core group of "regular posting members," (we'll set the number to be considered a regular posting member at 50 posts) and that number is 45 posters. So now we are down from our original number of 452 to 45. I make that point only because it is relevant to discredit you as a source of accurate information. Furthermore, the burden of proof is not on Ricky to prove that others approve of him, it is on you to prove that others disapprove of him, which you have not done, nor will be able to. I say all this to re-quote my mother, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." Ricky is a class act and is the kind of person most of the people here strive to be: A tender-hearted, God-fearing, genuine caring person. There is no reason to attack, criticize, or discourage Ricky in any way and the ones who do so should be ashamed of themselves.

EDIT: After further checking, it seems that the member directory only lists around 300 members instead of all 452 which is strange in itself. It seems that the board stats could wrong and there are only 300 members. It's quite confusing for it to say 452 one place and only list 300 but whatever. That changes my numbers but the idea undoubtedly remains the same.

I never once mentioned anything about attacking Ricky's character. I referenced attacking him, discouraging him, and criticizing him, all as a poster. That has been done and it is disappointing to say the least. Ricky is defenseless, because he has chosen to turn the other cheek, but I'm not going to sit around a watch him be discouraged for doing something he loves.

I am the King of inane, useless comments. Ricky can't even carry my dinner bucket. But even I realize that making goofy comments on threads that are about to drop off to page 2 is unnecessary clutter. You know this too. That is why I am suspicious of your motives. Don't start trouble and there won't be none.

I have been very fair in my comments when CRS has been mentioned at WA. That being said, I have never seen that statement, I am not doubting its existence, just that I have no recollection of seeing it. I would much rather be the target than it be Ricky though so say what you will about me. All that being said, :handshake: :)
