Title: ESPN visits Tuscaloosa for tornado-recovery story Post by: pmull on May 06, 2011, 07:01:56 AM ESPN announcer Rece Davis couldn't believe what he saw in Tuscaloosa. He had watched coverage online and on TV about the damage from last Wednesday's tornadoes and was told two-dimensional pictures didn't do it justice.
"Unfortunately, that proved to be true," Davis said. "Whether it was in Alberta City or Rosedale or Forest Lake, it's a miracle that anybody walked away from it." Davis spent time in Tuscaloosa the past couple days filming an ESPN piece about the tornadoes that will air Sunday on SportsCenter. I guess I was wrong. Does this peice say he came here because he wanted to make an ESPN moive about this? I hope others can read more out of this than I could. RTR!
