The Tide received remarkably consistent rounds from all five of players in the lineup on Thursday. Stephanie Meadow led the way with a 1-under-par 71 while Jennifer Kirby's 1-over-par 73 was dropped and not counted toward UA's team total that consisted of the low-four scores. Brooke Pancake, Camilla Lennarth and Hannah Collier all carded identical even-par rounds of 72.

Looks our team is consistent and before we are done we should be well out front. RTR!

This team is real good. They are rated # 3 in the nation. They finished 3rd in the NCAA Championship last year. I expect them to finish 1st or 2nd in the regional and contend for the championship in the finals. They are capable of bringing home a Nation Championship trophy.

There is a rumor coming from the East Regional Clubhouse that the Coastal Carolina team is wearing Advance Auto Parts logos on their hats.   8)

Bama had a good day on the course. They shot -4 as a team. They are in 1st place with a 4 shot lead on North Carolina.

Stephanie Meadow shot a -5 for the day. She is -6 on the event and in first place.

The Advanced Auto Parts Coastal Carolina Alternators had a tough day. They are in 5th place 13 shots back of the Tide.

Stephanie is incredibly accurate with her irons and really, really putts well.  All the ladies are playing solidly.  Jennifer Kirby was struggling a bit and finished with 3 straight birdies to shoot a respectable 2 over par (+3 for tourney).  Hannah Collier birdied the last hole (also +3 for tourney).  Brooke Pancake has two solid rounds of even par and Camilla Lennarth, the lone Sr on the team stands at 1 under after 36 holes.

We have 3 players in the top 10 and all 5 players in the top 22 (out of 126 total players).

Auburn which won the SEC Championship on their home course is in 13th place 30 shots back and will have to go really low tomorrow to make the NCAA finals in Bryan, TX.  I believe the top 8 teams qualify for the finals.

Alabama still has a 5 stroke lead and Stephanie Meadow is pulling away with the individual with a 6 shot lead.

Bama starting to struggle on the last nine holes. They have lost their 5 stroke lead. NC has tied them at +2. Ariz St is in third at +5 and everybody else is out of it.

The barn is on the 8th place bubble. The top 8 teams advance advance to the finals.

Alabama has won the East Regional. They finished at +2. NC was next at +4. The leaders went out early so about half the field is still on the course. None of the teams still playing have a chance to catch us.

We will go into the finals as one of the top seeds and a favorite to win it all.
