I haven't seen any posts from BAMAWV in a while. Does anyone know what's going on & is he okay? Just wondering.

No way am I kidding. I really don't know what has happened. I was not posting or using the computer for a while when I was injured and had to have surgery. Did something happen around November/December? Another poster has inferred he died but I know nothing of it.

He died over the summer.  It was posted in the Evergreen Cemetery board.

I have never looked at that site. In fact, the Quad and maybe one other site on this forum have I ever looked at. Really sad news about BAMAWV & NavyChief.

Also, Navy Chief, passed away around the same time.

TAZRUGBY and Coach Hank Crisp died around the same time a little over a year ago.

MD never leaves the Quad, so I can see why he wouldn't know what happened.

I had no idea, MD that you were out when all that went on. They way things sometimes come in 3's, I'm glad you came through your ordeal ok.  :lol2:

missed Jay on twitter and then finally got back over here and
found out why ... and then about BWV too , da' ol' double whammy .
now I'm afraid to look at FB   :unsure:

the hospital this week ... thought I was a goner there for a second .
but a good ole oil change fixed me right up  , well that and a pile of ROIDS !

We did send out a search party for you too when we found out about WV and NC.  But we couldn't find you, so we figured you were OK.  Otherwise we would have found something in the newspapers.

Friday before last just driving home from work in the truck
it was hot that day and the A/C was feeling good and all of
a sudden I wasn't .
I told my son I had to pull over because I didn't feel safe driving,and
for him to drive on to the house .
just all of sudden I got vertigo really bad and started throwing up

long story short , I woke up in the ER with all kind crap hooked to me
high as a kite on Morphine looking like Darth Vader with vapors coming
out of the stupid mask they put on me and all sorts of hoses stuck in me

run down , fluid in my lungs yada yada yada they said ...
been home ever since ....
but hey ! I'll be off work to see the game Saturday  :lol2:

I'm just glad to have ALL of you guys still around. I have to admit that even though I didn't know him personally, WV's passing really hit me hard. I know he and I had our moments, but I truly miss him. Something is missing without him here, but I am glad to have the rest of you guys here with me. Wow, I am so sorry to hear about all those passing! :(  Work has overwhelmed me for the last year so my interaction here was very limited for a while and then I just didn't have time. I signed on today and was just floored by this news.

On this opening day of the season, I just want to raise a toast in remembrance to those here on CRS who have left us and will not be cheering on the Tide with us this year. We had tributes to both Taz and Coach Hank last season, but I will include them in with our most recently departed comrades WV and navychief.
