The junior left-hander pitched a eight shutout innings Saturday as the Crimson Tide defeated LSU 4-0 to even a key three-game series at one victory each. The series concludes with a 1:05 p.m. game Sunday. The Tide bounced back from a 10-6 loss Friday night. With every loss, it has been barely staying in contention for a berth in the eight-team SEC tournament. With every victory, Alabama (29-20, 11-12 in the Southeastern Conference) stays close to the SEC Western Division lead. It pulled one game behind first-place Arkansas, which played host to Florida on Saturday night.
