I just had something hit me, these have not done anything together, after this game and they get together, wow what a game day we should have if the Lord permits. RTR!

I am impressed with our D line. We have gotten pressure on qb. I know Tech is weak up front but we are getting there without blitzing.

Right now I'm thinking it's a good thing we've got two weeks to work on the problems before A&M.

AJ is making some throws that aren't really open IMO.  There were several before the interception that he probably should not have thrown.  He is counting on the receivers to fight for the ball, but that is a big risk.

I really like a good game like this

Our offense may have weapons but the line needs to block and AJ can't throw off his back foot.

I don't think Saban planned on having 96 yards at halftime and knew we would have 2 TD's due to kick/punt returns. The VT defense is kicking out rear on offense and beating our O-Line like a drum. This is not av\bout a vanilla offense, but about poor blocking & execution.

The first half stats for O aren't what we want, but I have to wonder how those 3 series where we scored on the punt/kick/interception impacted the O's stats.  Maybe we would have more yards if we had gotten the ball on O 3 more times.  We will see how the 2nd half goes.

Defense looked good, offense was mostly inept, especially compared to the "Standard."

TA&M's D line looked vulnerable against Rice.  So maybe it will balance out.

The problem was that isn't their real D.  Those 6 suspended starters will be back in time for Bama, so we really won't know much about them before the game.
