The SEC West championship is as tight of a race as I have ever seen in the Conference and every game for each team in the West is a must win.

Bama and Auburn are tied one game behind Arkansas and Bama could sure use some help from Florida and Georgia today. Bama needs a win and Arkansas and Auburn need a loss.

But even after this weekend, it only gets tougher for Bama. The Tide must go to Auburn next weekend for a 3 game series and then must play SEC Conference leader, South Carolina, at Sewell-Thomas in a 3 game series the next weekend to wrap up the season.

That is a tough row to hoe. RTR!!

Alabama and the barn are actually 1/2 game behind Arkansas. Since Arkansas played Thursday they have completed their weekend. A win today by the Tide and we are tied for the West lead.

A win today and we are in a two way (maybe three way if the barn wins) tie for the West. A loss and we are on the SEC Tournament bubble. I agree with Jamos that the next two weeks with be difficult so that makes today's game very important.

Can you believe this baseball game ended before the softball game.  They started at the same time.

Nice win by the Tide. We go to 30-20 on the year and 12-12 in SEC play. We are tied with Arkansas for the SEC West lead. I Auburn wins today it will be a three way tie.

J. Smart pitched a great game. He pitched into the 9th inning before having help from Rosecrans to finish the game.

We score 9 runs on 15 hits and no errors.

We go to Auburn for a three game series next weekend. That will be a big series. We need to finish strong for a good seed in the SEC and NCAA Tournaments.

I seen that happen several times this year. Softball games are normally very quick.

OM pitchers struggled with lots of walks.  That will always make it a long day.
