SEC with seven in latest AP Top 25

With two weeks of the college football season in the books, the SEC still has solid representation in the Associated Press Top 25 and even added a new team to the rankings.
Seven SEC teams are in the newest version of the poll, with idle Alabama remaining at No. 1, receiving 57 first-place votes. Ole Miss (2-0) is the new team in the poll. The Rebels debut at No. 25 after opening the season with victories at Vanderbilt and, on Saturday, at FCS foe Southeast Missouri State.
