Tide offensive line has something to prove
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- AJ McCarron was visibly upset. Alabama's senior quarterback knew the question was coming, and when it did, he had to take a second to compose himself before answering. He'd listened for more than a week about how his offensive line struggled in the season opener, and frankly he was tired of hearing it.

"It kind of ticks me off that everyone blames them," he told reporters on Monday, putting his hands out in stopping motion. "Put the blame on me for not helping us out.

Texas A&M's front seven doesn't have quite the same reputation as Virginia Tech's -- last Saturday the Aggies gave up 28 points and 240 yards rushing to lowly Sam Houston State -- but it's still an SEC defense.

No, they have a Big 12 defense playing in the SEC.  My only concern is CKS is an excellent coach.  I hope he isn't slow playing us.

Good point, SC.

We'll be fine as long as we bring an Alabama offense.

This offense is going to have the biggest chip on their shoulders. All they've heard for 2 full weeks is how they under-performed vs VT. aTm isn't going to know what hit them!

My sources tell me that we have one that is ready, willing, and able.

They made too many mistakes and some were simple.  If they don't like the criticism then go out and do a better job.  Communication will be more difficult this weekend than at the Ga dome.   Maybe we are spoiled from last year's OL.  I do seem too remember a game last year where they struggled early.

I expect to see a different team from TA&M on Saturday than we've seen so far.  Last year, Sumlin had a great game plan against Bama's OLine.  They know what's coming, and they'll be ready for this game.  I think Bama's OLine with have a huge chip on its shoulder, though, and that could be the difference.

It will definitely be different.  So far all he has shown on defense in the first 2 games is a deuce-3 off suit.  I wonder if he is really holding a pair of 5's, or if he has an Ace in there somewhere that we haven't seen.

I'm leaning toward pocket 5's.

A&M did not have their starting LB or CB during the first 2 games.  There were other starters who played in only 1 game.  We'll see the full-strength D they've got.  You can bet it'll be better that anything they showed in games 1-2.

Still, we should be able to run our offense against them with success.
