This is probably true.  Bama has had a much harder time with these offenses than more traditional ones.  Saban likes to substitute for the situation on defense, and these offenses don't allow that, so it takes away some of the defensive advantage.  But he has been working on solving this puzzle for the past few years, ever since the Florida and Utah games, and Bama has gotten better at containing the QB and making the opponent win through the air.  Tebow couldn't do that, ultimately, whereas Manziel is a better passer.  But I think Bama's defense has gotten better at defending these offenses as well -- we'll see that on Saturday.
