I really believe Texas is toast this year. They seem lost, confused, & maybe overly complacent. Texas has not had a decent QB since 2009, which seems impossible when recruiting the state of Texas. Of course, they never recruited Jameis Winston (who wanted to go to Texas and play baseball, too) and wanted to make RGIII a DB. If Mack Brown survives this year, then he must have some awful pictures of several Texas administrators and even Texas legislators.

It looks like MS v. Auburn is the game to watch.  14-13 at half, should be tied if MS didn't try a 2-point conversion and miss.

Anybody heard about injuries to Alabama?

Belue?  What was the injury?  Sounded like a foot.

Collins?  Just a cramp I think; he returned.

One of the linemen - which?

Apparently turf toe for Belue.

Steak would be appropriate for beating a Texas Team.

Maybe frog legs for the Aggies?  ("Gig 'Em" is their team cry).

I had some pork shoulder I smoked two weeks ago and then froze the leftovers.  Too busy to cook today.

I guess not, the "Gig Em" war cry came from a 1930 game they played against TCU,  the Horned Frogs.

So any agricultural product should be OK to celebrate a victory over the Aggies, cattle or hogs included.

I was hoping we would get the Ole Miss game here in Alabama too, but no such luck.  "Local channels" must be those broadcast in Mississippi.  Which means my friend on the MS coast is looking out over the Gulf, drinking a cocktail and watching the game right now.

I guess there is no point in watching the Wisconsin v. Arizona State game; it's not in our picks.

Actually, it's on CBS here in Mississippi.  Came on after the Bama game.  :dunno:
Guess the state and Memphis got free coverage.  Memphis channel.

I'm watching Notre Dame lose (hopefully) to Purdue.

You can chalk up the firing of Mack Brown.

Ole Miss returns a punt for a TD.  Leads 37-23.  Late in 3rd.

Special teams coach will be fired Monday.

I'd be very happy if they kept Mack Brown for another 30 years, alive or dead.
They are not a contender with him, so...
Hook 'em, MACK!

I would prefer at least a mediocre team capable of sharing the Texas talent with aTm.  I don't want Sumlin getting ALL the recruits.

Shipley dove to catch the 4th-down pass at the sticks.  Replay shows he didn't make it, but refs gave it to them.

BUT, Texas fumbles on next play.  Ole Miss ball.

I still think Mack Brown goes before Kiffin.

Does Mack survive the season?

Oh yeah, he makes it through the season, but then he is finished. A rumor on a sports site said the Texas AD was on his way out, the the AD strongly denied it. He has been the AD for 30 years and is very powerful and is Mack's biggest supporter.

I would like to thank Kentucky for making WKU a little over confident before this game.
