I don't think WVU should be in the poll again this year. And with FL having lost their QB, and UK sucking, this one is not worthy of us. The Clemson and FSU games feature worthy ranked teams but unworthy opponents - same for UWash/AZ. And VT/GT, in the slide-rule bowl, is too inconsequential. As for SMU and TCU, it's just too much Tejas for a guy to stand. Arky but I couldn't find a line. So I changed it to UF v UK, but I forgot to change WALL-E over to the new game. It is fixed now though with the correct final score. Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: SUPERCOACH on September 28, 2013, 09:06:09 PM I almost changed my USCe pick last night because of so many "experts" calling for the upset alert. >:(
So far that is the only one I missed. Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: cbbama99 on September 28, 2013, 09:24:43 PM Wow, I got within 11 yards of the total yardage. I guess everyone gets lucky once in a blue moon. :lol2:
Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: Catch Prothro on September 29, 2013, 03:48:36 AM Congrats to Bamaphile for a perfect week.
Congrats to MD and SC, bamaphil and bamadave for near misses. Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: cbbama99 on September 29, 2013, 06:50:06 AM Congrats to Bamaphile on the undefeated record! #+
Out of curiosity, anyone know why the winner of the UGA-Who game wasn't listed? Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: pmull on September 29, 2013, 07:03:55 AM Congrats to Bamaphile on the undefeated record! #+ Out of curiosity, anyone know why the winner of the UGA-Who game wasn't listed? It was a push (tie). UGA won by 3 and the line was LSU +3. Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: bamaphil on September 29, 2013, 08:23:33 AM My second one loss performance of the season. But... If I hadn't forgotten to enter picks before the Thursday game I probably would have had two.

Then this morning I saw that I'd marked Ole Miss on my picks. :dunno: My handwritten scorecard that I took to the game showed that I'd chosen Alabama. Guess I screwed up the selection. :wall: Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: bamaphil on September 29, 2013, 09:15:22 AM I think I've spent a maximum of thirty seconds on picks each week and haven't changed any after I made the initial picks.

Title: Re: Week 5 Games Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on September 30, 2013, 10:00:58 AM What's the formula for determining overall leaders? Best and worst weeks thrown out? Just worst two dropped I think. Right. That way if someone misses a week or two throughout the season they still have a chance. If you play every week you get a couple of mulligans.
