I agree Ole Miss is better than they have been in a long time but to say they have always been a thorn is our side is a stretch. We have an all time record of 50-8-2 against OM. We have won 9 in a row. OM has only beaten us once as the visiting team. Vegas does not set the point spread by predicting the final margin of victory. The point spread is set to get 50% of the bets on each side. If bettors jump on Ole Miss because of the large spread the line will come down. If bettors load up on Bama the line will go up. A lot of Bama fans bet with their heart so it inflates the line on many games. The VT spread was 20.5 and we won by 25. We did not cover against A&M or Colorado ST.
