That is a crock of bull what see they project Alabama to win by. Ole Miss is better than they have been in a long time and they have always been a thorn in our side. RTR!

I agree Ole Miss is better than they have been in a long time but to say they have always been a thorn is our side is a stretch. We have an all time record of 50-8-2 against OM. We have won 9 in a row. OM has only beaten us once as the visiting team.

Vegas must know something I don't, because I thought Bama would be a 7 point favorite or less after this weekend.

Vegas does not set the point spread by predicting the final margin of victory. The point spread is set to get 50% of the bets on each side. If bettors jump on Ole Miss because of the large spread the line will come down. If bettors load up on Bama the line will go up. A lot of Bama fans bet with their heart so it inflates the line on many games.

Certainly Alabama has the ability, if they play their A-game, to beat the margin.

The only question is which team shows up.

We haven't covered yet this year, have we?

The VT spread was 20.5 and we won by 25. We did not cover against A&M or Colorado ST.

A&M was only by 1 point.  Nobody expected us to cover against Colorado State, the line was ridiculous.

I hate this.

It appears that most of the team believes it's own press after a big win like A&M or preseason.  This spread does not bode well for Bama's motivation.  I am hoping Saban breaks a boot off in their collective A$$ES to get their attention this week or it could be a long Saturday Night.
