He is only saying this because it wouldn't impact the Big 10 one bit.

Lordy, every time Delaney speaks I hear a rough squealing sound his tongue needs to greased. He never has a good idea. How can he be so less in thought and have such a high position? RTR!

I think football has a good rule in place. A college player can not go to the NFL draft until after his third year. College basketball and baseball need to adopt this rule.

Agreed pmull. I can remember back in the 70's and 80's they had Pro players who had degrees and couldn't spell their name. That is sad. I think kids need that first 3 years and in all sports. RTR!

I agree as well.  Just from a physical, psychological and emotional development perspective, men aren't fully developed until they are 21-22 years old.  The capacity for decision making and judgment is still a ways off at 18 yo.  I mean people like LaBron are just physical freaks of nature, but he was emotionally immature and pretty impulsive...ie the hour-long ESPN special of him leaving for Miami and he was in his mid-20s then.  I think college is a good transition in learning what it means to be an adult after living with Momma for 18 years.
