Why are the SEC refs consistently the worst refs in college football? Watching the Ga LSU game and they were terrible. Now this game and they have missed late hits, holding, face masks, just plain awful.

AJ is no where near an A+, IMO.  He needs to throw the ball down the field a little more.  He was 6/6 on third downs for 2 first downs at one point.  That's on him.  I think he plays a little too scared.  Just my opinion I guess.

I think you are being overly generous by giving the O-line only an F-. They should be expelled from school for underperforming so badly.

Considering how poorly the o-line has played I think AJ has done quite well.

aTm 24  Arky 17 with less than 2 minutes before the half.  That game is a lot closer than I thought it would be.

Defense has been awesome tonight.

The defense is playing with a chip on their shoulder tonight, and I think we have found our 2nd CB. Eddie Jackson is going to be a great one, and it looks like John Fulton has missed his final chance to be a factor at Bama. I hate it because he had such promise coming in. 5 star and the #1 CB according to most services. I hate that he never lived up to his potential. But I am excited about the future at secondary.  

Should be a free play for the D. Like an offsides.

CJ's talk last week must have helped. I believe the D has found its ID. Eddie Jackson is playing unafraid. He is really going to be good.

Our D is starting to find itself again.  Eddie Jackson has grown up a lot today, too.

If you had told me before the game that our D would hold Ole Piss scoreless through the 4th QT I would have said you were crazy. Our D has played with fire and intensity tonight. This is Alabama football. And yes, Ole Piss has been getting away with all kinds of crap after the play tonight. They are a bunch of cheap shot dirty players. I think Hugh Freeze must teach that. They look just like Auburn.

Great win. Our D has found its ID. O line may have found the right group and any time you pitch a shut out is a beautiful thing. We shut out a pretty good OM offense.

Yeah, that is the best game the D has played this year, by far.  I hope this is their ID.

I think the D has gelled.  They made a couple of mistakes early, but I am upgrading them to an A+.

I remember how "terrible" Dee Milliner was as a true freshman cornerback.  I think Eddie Jackson may have figured it all out tonight and be on his way to being the next Milliner.  That interception REALLY seemed to turn the lights on for him!

I'm not sure Texas would go for Hugh Freeze after all.  He plays like the big underdog -- and while Ole Miss was an underdog, I think you have to score points early to give your team confidence when they are the underdog.  It had to be frustrating to the Ole Miss offense to drive down the field and come up empty.

If he had approached the game more like a dog fight (Saban and Miles would have taken the field goals), and take points when you can get them, the game would have been closer. 

You don't play from behind when you aren't behind.

But I'm not complaining -- the shutout was SWEET!
