It was 4:50 am and the bus left him at the airport. I think there must have been a very strong animus by the USC President and Haden towards Kiffin. Prior to that he make $2M/yr at UT and $2M/yr at Oakland. I'm sure he was fairly well paid as an assistance for many years prior to becoming a HC. Why would USC agree to loan him $500K for a house? I guess his trophy wife is high maintenance, spends a lot of money and wanted a big beach house.
