The selection committee will consist of 12 to 18 individuals. Sources previously told ESPN that at least one athletic director from each of the five power conferences (ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac-12 and SEC) would be represented on the committee. The current system is just fine if you expand the number of teams so there is less chance for error. The only thing that matters is whether or not the BEST team is one of the teams that gets in. Who cares if #4 and #5 want to bicker about who should go, so long as neither of them have a legitimate argument for being #1. Why you ask? Well they are humans and humans make mistakes and when they hate they find it so hard to ever be neutral. Think, how many times have we heard, I will pick against Auburn no matter what.
