Then the sideline coach started doing the chicken-flapping imitation... Too funny.

They had made some progress in that area but took three giant steps backward yesterday. ???

I think the way the team rebounded after all the mistakes gives signs of hope, of just how good this team can really be. So while the team did take a step or two (or 5 or 6) backwards at first, they might have made a big leap forward by the end, perhaps finally starting to realize that Saban is right. I'm glad they made these mistakes during the Kentucky game, instead of a tougher opponent who might make us pay for it. (credit to in-the-game comments).
