"I thought he’s played pretty well," left guard Arie Kouandjio said Tuesday. "He came in when we needed him, stepped in. He’s done a pretty good job, communication’s been pretty good. We’re just moving forward as a team. We’re just pieces of one big puzzle." Saban was asked if Lindsay's strong performance would make it a difficult decision when Kelly was back to 100 percent. "I don't think it's a difficult decision," he said. "I think the chemistry and how we're playing the last couple of weeks has been really good. I think Ryan is a very good player and did a nice job when he was in there. ... Looks like we're finally getting it together along the O-line. Let's see if they can blow open holes in the Arky defense. :popcorn2: Title: Re: "Competition 'healthy' between centers Chad Lindsay, Ryan Kelly, Alabama coach Nick Saban says" Post by: 2Stater on October 17, 2013, 05:41:34 AM The "O" line has improved dramatically since the first game of the year. They still make silly mistakes, though, such as the movement penalties. It would be great to see a mistake-free game Saturday, with Kelly playing well when he is in.

Hill is pushing Shepherd at right tackle. I noticed he got signigicant playing time at that position last game. He may have played just as many plays as Shepherd.
