IMO they are keeping him because they know how important getting a good coach is to winning. Bama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and others have proven even the best programs cannot just plug in another coach and never miss a beat. It looks to me that they are willing to weather the storm with Tressel. However, I am sure sure they expected this situation to continue to get bigger and bigger. A month ago I thought Tressel would kept his job. Now, he could be gone at any time. I do not think he will ever coach again at OSU. |
