(And, um, someone else might want to do the pickem list on Sunday.)    :-[

No way. After the game you get your buns back to the house and get to work on the next week's games. No slacking and goofing off.

Enjoy the game!

The last Tennessee game I attended was '05. Hopefully you'll enjoy this one as much I enjoyed that, but for the sake of my sanity I hope it's not as close.

The last TN game I attended was 2009, Rocky Block.  And yeah, it was a great game, but I hope it isn't that close either.   8)

Sorry, I won't have a computer in Tuscaloosa.  So you're volunteering?  How awesome!  Just go to ESPN's college football schedule for week 10, http://espn.go.com/college-football/schedule/_/week/10 and pick out the TV games (SEC game is the 12:21 game).  SC gets the lines from Sportsbook, but I find it easier to find at Vegas Insider, which lists the Sportsbook lines.  http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/?s=300

I don't think I'll be sitting next to any pretty coeds, so TV face time is unlikely.   :lol2:

They're good seats, 40 yard line, row 16 or so, East Stands.  My brother has been getting these tickets for decades.

When we're 35 points ahead, CP, don't leave the game early.  Coach doesn't like it.

If he doesn't show up by Monday we will know he is being held in the dungeon under Bryant-Denny.

I don't leave early.  This might be the only game I see this year.

One of two things I miss about not working for the University -- Faculty Staff tickets.

(The other?   Generous leave.   :lol2:)

It was a great if long day driving down to watch the TN game.  We didn't get into Tuscaloosa until 2 p.m., just enough time to walk to the stadium and find our seats.  The weather couldn't have been more perfect, sunny in the low 60s.  TN had some receivers get open -- need to work on that -- but Bama dominated from start to finish.  The fans were great and most stayed the whole game, or at least until the final 4 minutes, block seating apparently was not in place.  I saw Catherine Webb waking along the black fence between the fans and the field, kindly stopping for every fan that wanted a photo with her.  And Yeldon's dad was sitting above us, wearing a Yeldon jersey and hat.

We found a steak house in Oakman (highway 69 South of Jasper) with a huge stone fireplace and excellent steaks.  I'll be stopping by there again, they are only open for dinner Thur-Sat.

Glad you had fun; thanks for sharing.  Pics?

You and I had the identical 6 picks for the night games, and we both had 450 yards!  Pretty funny when the 2 of us were tied for the top spot late yesterday afternoon!  :toast4:

Hard to get excited about 5/5, but I'll take it.   :toast4:
