I have been there several times and it never appeared to me anylike like TV news protrays it. It is beautiful and all kinds of things to do. Candlestick is way out of town on the Bay. The Giants moved to the popular Fisherman's Wharf area. That is in the middle of town in a tourist area. Much nicer location. It is a very nice stadium too.

Great pacle. The only thing I saw that was surprising was a group of police escorted. totally nude group of bicyclists riding past Fisherman's Wharf. SF is probably the same. I wouldn't want to live there but it is a fun place for a business trip.
