I would like to see the team stay in S.F. ... but considering what
the city has become and the way it's being run , I can completely
understand the move or the lack of stopping it ...

They could just go with the flow and change their nickname to somethin like the "Honey Miners" and stay where they are.  :dunno:

San Francisco is a great city. I have been there several times and it never appeared to me anylike like TV news protrays it. It is beautiful and all kinds of things to do. Candlestick is way out of town on the Bay. The Giants moved to the popular Fisherman's Wharf area. That is in the middle of town in a tourist area. Much nicer location. It is a very nice stadium too.

I've been there once and I agree. Great pacle. The only thing I saw that was surprising was a group of police escorted. totally nude group of bicyclists riding past Fisherman's Wharf.

Good points.  I've enjoyed visits to SF too.
Man, could I go for a SF breakfast about now.

In most city's the locals don't hang out at the same places the tourist do. SF is probably the same. I wouldn't want to live there but it is a fun place for a business trip.

When we traveled to Nappa And Sonoma a few weeks ago, we stayed a few days in SF. Great restaurants and sour dough bread. I was surprised how friendly he people were.

Agreed, a nice city to visit but wouldn't want to live here.

P.S Ms. Merk was in Ghirardelli chocolate heaven.
