Title: SEC Baseball Tournament Post by: pmull on May 22, 2011, 06:45:32 PM Alabama opens to SEC Tournament with Arkansas on Wednesday at 9:30am. We are paired with Miss State and Florida. If we win we play the Miss State - Florida winner and if we lose we play the loser.
This is about as good a draw as we could get. We avoid the big three (So Carloina, Vandy, Florida) in the first round. I think we are a lock for a NCAA Regional Bid. We have a good RPI. I look for them to be a #2 seed. I think we are playing for seeding position. I hope we can stay close to home and not have to play one of the top 8 national seeds. He claims the SEC office messed up the tie-breaker. He's a whiny butt.
The barn's overall record is just 2 games over .500. If they go 2 and out in the SEC Tournament they will not be eligible for a NCAA Regional bid.
